Description: Set over the course of one wild night before a wedding, story follows Tom, a young groom-to-be, and his older brother who organizes a bachelor party in the backroom of a smoky poker game. Surrounded by a boisterous group of friends shooting pool and drinking, Tom anticipates a final night of freedom before he ties the knot with his sweetheart Carol the next day.
As the party escalates, various call girls wander in and out, each offering their own services to the men, and Tom finds himself growing uneasy in the midst of this blatant misogyny. The boozy, black-and-white ambience transforms the raunchy festivities into something more surreal, especially once the camera adopts a first-person, wide-angle perspective—heightening the gritty, chaotic energy of the room.
Throughout the night, everyone waits for one woman in particular: Aphrodite, a legendary high-class escort rumored to deliver an unforgettable performance. However, when Aphrodite finally arrives, the night takes an unexpected turn: she is, in fact, Carol. In a shocking twist, Carol delivers a furious tirade against the men’s objectification of women, revealing a dark flashback to her own sexual initiation at the hands of a violent farmhand. This confessional monologue forces everyone—especially Tom—to confront the disturbing undercurrents of their debauchery.
The night spirals toward a bleak climax when Tom, unable to reconcile his fiancée’s hidden life with his own guilt, rushes upstairs.
