Description: Sexbomb is a satirical comedy that takes a humorous jab at the world of low-budget filmmaking.
The story follows Lou Lurrod, a struggling screenwriter hired by King Faraday, an overbearing and miserly B-movie producer, to write a werewolf horror film titled Werewolves in Heat within a tight 48-hour deadline. Faraday, infamous for making ultra-cheap exploitation films, demands only a minimal plot to accompany the required nudity and gore. However, chaos ensues when Faraday’s seductive wife, Candy, hatches a devious plan to convince Lou to murder her husband.
As production moves forward, the film-within-a-film concept becomes a backdrop for outrageous antics, exaggerated Hollywood stereotypes, and industry satire. Lou finds support from Phoebe Love, an enthusiastic scream queen working on the film, while tensions rise with Faraday’s bratty daughter, Lola, and a group of eccentric mobsters demanding to see their investment return.
Packed with absurd auditions, over-the-top special effects, and a hilarious parody of the B-movie industry, Sexbomb is a tongue-in-cheek comedy that revels in its campy charm. Featuring exaggerated performances, witty dialogue, and a send-up of 80s horror tropes, the film delivers a riotous and self-aware look at the chaos behind the scenes of trash cinema.
