Description: In a buttoned-up small town, a simple sex-education program is enough to send the local adults into full moral meltdown. Parents, authority figures, and neighborhood busybodies react as if the classroom itself has become a threat, turning everyday domestic life into a whirlwind of arguments, suspicion, and comic overreaction. At the center of the chaos are a few intertwined households where repression, hypocrisy, and generational confusion are already simmering long before the lessons begin.

As the town’s grown-ups scramble to “protect” their children, the film bounces between teenage curiosity, frustrated marriages, and absurdly uptight men whose personal hang-ups make them the least qualified people imaginable to lead the protest. Meanwhile, the school’s sex-ed instructor remains one of the few calm voices in the room, treating the subject with a matter-of-fact openness that makes the adults look even more ridiculous by comparison.

Rather than building toward one neat conflict, the movie plays as a loose, fast-moving satire of middle-class panic — full of caricatures, offbeat editing, and a deliberately disjointed rhythm that gives the whole thing a weird, freewheeling “anything goes” energy. The result is less a polished comedy than a sunny, scrappy snapshot of a moment when old values were being openly mocked and new ones were barging through the front door.

Legacy Note:
This early-70s oddity is most interesting as a time-capsule of culture-war comedy — a film that turns sex-ed panic, suburban prudishness, and generational anxiety into broad, countercultural farce. With its jumpy structure, fourth-wall nudges, and irreverent tone, it feels like a leftover artifact from the moment when American exploitation cinema briefly flirted with social satire and youthful “anything can be joked about” energy. It’s messy, goofy, and very much of its era — which is exactly its charm.
