Description: In the darkest years of World War II, Heinrich Himmler stands among the most powerful and feared figures of Nazi Germany. As head of the SS and one of the principal architects of the Holocaust, he presides over an enormous machinery of persecution, imprisonment, and mass murder. But in Reichsführer-SS, this notorious historical figure is drawn into a fictional nightmare where his crimes will eventually demand a terrifying supernatural reckoning.

The story begins on the Eastern Front in 1941. During the execution of Soviet prisoners of war, Himmler becomes physically sickened by the violence unfolding before him. His reaction attracts the attention of the ambitious SS officer Hans Shellenberg, who reports the incident directly to Adolf Hitler.

Determined to test his subordinate’s loyalty, Hitler orders Himmler to personally execute Danuta, a Polish prisoner. The confrontation becomes a turning point in the film’s imagined portrait of the Nazi leader, exposing the monstrous consequences of unchecked power, ideological fanaticism, and absolute obedience.

As the war reaches its devastating conclusion, Himmler’s world collapses along with the Third Reich. Following his suicide in 1945, however, death provides no escape from the atrocities committed under his authority.
