Description: A flamboyant motorcycle gang of cross-dressing men ride down the California coast, headed for a drag ball in Los Angeles. On the way, they clash with cops, rival bikers, and a paranoid ex-military general obsessed with destroying “long-haired freaks.” What begins as a playful, campy spoof of biker culture—with food fights, roadside picnics, and flamboyant fashion experiments—shifts into darker territory as prejudice and violence catch up with them. Behind the camp humor and groovy soundtrack lies a biting critique of American conformity, repression, and intolerance in the early 1970s.
