Description: When a young composer named Bruno moves into a secluded villa to write the soundtrack for a horror film, he soon finds himself in the midst of a real-life mystery. As he settles in, a series of violent murders begin to occur around him—each victim tied in some way to the villa’s enigmatic former tenant, Linda.

Drawn deeper into the growing mystery, Bruno encounters a trail of clues and eccentric suspects: an obsessive director, a suspicious handyman, and his own jealous girlfriend. With each chilling encounter, he begins to suspect that the fictional film he’s scoring may reflect a sinister truth. As the body count rises and the killer closes in, Bruno must uncover the villa’s dark secret before he becomes the next victim.

Directed by Lamberto Bava and co-written by horror maestro Dardano Sacchetti, A Blade in the Dark blends classic giallo suspense with gruesome slasher intensity, culminating in a blood-soaked finale and an unforgettable twist.
