Description: It is a cheeky British sex comedy following Joe North (Barry Evans), a young London cabbie desperate to escape his overcrowded home life and nagging mother. Behind the wheel, Joe finds freedom — and trouble — in a series of bawdy misadventures with a colorful array of passengers and acquaintances.
Sharing a flat with his mechanic pal Tom (Robert Lindsay) and Tom’s exotic-dancer girlfriend Nikki (Judy Geeson), Joe stumbles from one outrageous situation to another — from strip poker with a Swedish beauty (Anna Bergman) to tangled encounters with older, flirtatious women. The episodic escapades build toward a botched diamond heist, adding a dash of crime to the otherwise lighthearted, risqué romp.
