Description: Photographer Stan (Gianni Garko) inherits his ancestral castle deep in the Bavarian countryside and decides to turn the crumbling estate into the wildest disco in Germany. Flashing lights, champagne, and topless models fill the halls — but below the dance floor, something old stirs in the crypt. For centuries, Count Dracula and his seductive bride (Betty Verges) have survived on stolen hospital plasma, waiting for the taste of real blood again. And when the music starts pounding, the Count rises to join the party.

Soon, the castle is a neon-lit den of absurdity and desire — part nightclub, part mausoleum — where village mayors flirt with topless dancers, photographers chase their models through cobwebbed corridors, and ancient vampires rediscover the thrill of sin beneath a spinning disco ball. It’s Transylvania meets Studio 54, complete with bad jokes, bouncing bosoms, and the unforgettable anthem:

“Ooooh! Ooooh! Rock me, Dracula!”

Carl Schenkel’s Dracula Blows His Cool is pure West German lunacy: a softcore horror-comedy that replaces fear with flesh, blood with disco sweat, and subtlety with slapstick. Betty Verges smolders as the Countess Olivia — half-vampire, half-Vampirella — while Garko doubles as both the frustrated playboy and the undead nobleman who just can’t resist a good groove.

P.S.
This SlzyStudio release presents the fully uncut version, HD restored from the complete with every nude sequence, deleted dialogue, and extended “Hotel Dracula” finale missing from censored TV and VHS prints. For the first time since 1979, the Count’s bite — and the disco beat — are both back in full force. 🩸💃
