Description: Five former classmates gather ahead of their high school reunion, each determined to present a polished, successful version of the life she’s supposedly built since graduation. But every confident claim — career success, domestic bliss, intellectual ambition, personal stability — is immediately undercut by a flashback revealing a much messier reality. The film’s entire structure runs on that setup: brag in the present, contradiction in the past.
Rather than building one continuous story, High School Reunion unfolds as a string of confession-by-reversal vignettes, each exposing the gap between public image and private history. The women perform adulthood for one another, but the movie keeps tearing away the mask, turning the reunion premise into a cynical little joke about self . . .
