There’s no nudity and little gore, but there is an homage to The Lady from Shanghai done with aluminum foil, zombies watching silent horror films, and a bit where Malatesta’s head inexplicably turns into bubble wrap. Mind-numbing, sure, but it’s never less than completely compelling. Highly recommended, though your brain may not speak to you for a few days after a viewing . . .
