Description: What begins as a champagne-fueled graduation trip turns into a fight for survival when eight privileged teens crash-land on a remote island — only to discover they’re not alone.
Prom king Keith (Martin Hewitt, Endless Love) charters a private plane to his father’s secluded Pacific island for the ultimate post-prom getaway, joined by his girlfriend Chrissie (Betsy Russell, Private School) and a mix of jocks, rebels, and misfits. But when a storm sends their plane into the sea, the celebration turns primal. With no adults, no rules, and only each other, the group descends into sun-drenched chaos — flirting, feuding, and playing increasingly dangerous games of power and desire.
Just as tensions boil over, a group of armed drug smugglers arrives onshore, transforming the tropical paradise into a war zone. Forced to fight for their lives, the teens must trade privilege for instinct and innocence for survival.
Director Allan Holzman (Forbidden World) delivers a wild, uneven blend of teen adventure and ‘80s action cheese, complete with rock-video lighting, surf-movie energy, and unapologetic skin. Featuring early appearances by Sherilyn Fenn, Claudia Udy, and Betsy Russell — who provide the film’s most memorable (and wettest) moments — Out of Control is part Lord of the Flies, part Miami Vice, and all drive-in delirium.

While the theatrical release was heavily censored, the version presented here is fully uncut — restoring the missing violence, nudity, and island mayhem exactly as director Allan Holzman originally shot it. This is the pure 1980s video-store experience, raw, reckless, and gloriously out of control.
