Description: In the gritty, neon-lit streets of 1980s New York City, aspiring actress Andrea Wilcox arrives desperate to break into the movies. Released from a troubled past and seeking fame, she takes a nude modelling job which unexpectedly becomes the scene of her brutal murder—caught on hidden camera by a veteran director.
The man behind the camera is Chris Neville, a washed-up film auteur whose last project flopped and whose career has stalled. Rather than face the failure, he seizes the moment of real violence and decides to turn it into art by making his next film about the murder. In a twisted meta-move, he convinces Andrea’s estranged husband Keefe to play himself in the movie, hiding the brutal truth behind cinematic illusion.
As production begins, reality and fiction blur. Neville searches the city . . .
