Review: The picture of Mario Gariazzo (Play Motel and Sapore di donna) can be divided into three parts. First – this is a typical mix of “walk turned nightmare” with the opening this topic in full. The second – the horrors of torture and the tribe of savages, dating to the customs and rituals, documentary horror absence of civilization. The third – the strongest contrast, incredibly decorating film reveals the cruelty theme white man against the savages, and more. Here, after the horrors of sadism wild tribes Goratstsio shows that educated people in the industrial world in its cruelty is nothing savages and not concede. And it is the third part of the film is its highlight, the culmination of the smart, and strong moral and ethical and ideological message to the viewer.
The film shows the contrast of the very idea of violence and save humanity. Not for nothing in one great film, the human species was described as “capable of great compassion … and incredible cruelty!”. It is this slogan would fit best to describe what is happening on the screen. White and savages, tribes and urban industry, savagery and barbarism, and the question – who is the man then?
