Description: ANGELIQUE is a superfluous soft-core porn flick from the ’60s, purporting to be a lesbian tale directed by a woman (the star Angelique herself). It’s yawn-a-minute effect merely raises the question: was there a made-by-lesbians Sapphic cinema in those ancient times?
She is presented to us as the submissive dominated by a tough blonde Suzanne, the erstwhile villain of the piece (that is, if there were an actual storyline here and not just actresses posing in and out of clothing). One day out window-shopping she is picked up by an older, more striking looking blonde Dominique, who becomes her new lover.
