Description: Wealthy perfume magnate Alain and his stunning yet emotionally distant wife Caroline set sail on their luxurious yacht for a romantic weekend along the Mediterranean coast. Hoping to escape the monotony of their strained marriage, the trip takes a dark turn when they cross paths with an uncouth American drifter and his enigmatic Scandinavian girlfriend.

Invited aboard out of politeness, the young couple’s behavior soon turns hostile, their passive aggression escalating into calculated humiliation. With Alain restrained and powerless, Caroline is forced into degrading servitude, her gilded life stripped away in a cruel game of dominance.

What begins as a tense social encounter unravels into a chilling spiral of psychological manipulation and sadistic control, echoing the unsettling menace of Polanski’s early thrillers and foreshadowing the cruel gamesmanship later seen in Funny Games. Ensalada Baudelaire is a disturbing study of class conflict, sexual tension, and the thin line between civility and brutality.
