Description: A psychology student persuades her two friends to spend a weekend inside an abandoned manor rumored to have a dark past. But the house isn’t empty. It belongs to María — a reclusive painter — and her deeply disturbed son.
What begins as curiosity and séance theatrics slowly shifts into something far more sinister. The ancient estate hides a basement secret, strange religious imagery, and paintings that seem soaked in violence. As tensions rise, desire and paranoia intertwine, and the guests realize they are no longer in control of the night.
Directed by Manuel Esteba and starring Mirta Miller, Bloody Sex blends Spanish gothic horror with giallo atmosphere. Handheld camerawork, shadowy corridors, and library music cues (including recognizable cues from Italian horror scores) give the film a dreamlike, uneasy pulse.
