Description: Our story follows two free-spirited brothers, Chris and Wayne Dixon, as they drift through 1950s rural Louisiana with no real destination in mind.
Along the way, they pick up a hitchhiking young woman, but when their car breaks down, they unknowingly take shelter near the home of Deputy Reed Morgan—a strict, racially prejudiced lawman with a wife and young son.
On the same day, a pair of violent drifters invade the deputy’s home, leading to tragedy. Mistaking the brothers and the girl for the culprits, Morgan embarks on a relentless and deadly pursuit through the backwoods.
What begins as an aimless road trip spirals into a tense, atmospheric, and ultimately devastating chase in the sweltering Southern night.
