Description: A writer, a producer, and a director are having a meeting to discuss and plan scenes for their current film project: The story of Liz Adams, who has come to New York to seek fame and fortune through the theatre.
In this film, the action is constantly interrupted by a story conference involving the director, producer, and writer, who discuss the characters’ arcs and various scenes. The opening is pure padding, consisting of a montage of so-called “highlights” (a term used loosely) from the upcoming hour-plus of action. The narration is almost nonstop and inane, often insulting the intelligence of the viewer.
The narrator frequently digresses to extol the virtues of “Sun Worship” and promote the wonderfulness of nudism, which is irrelevant to the main action. This seems to reflect an adult industry policy of the time, similar to the fake-patriotic “Freedom of Speech” messages included on recent porn videos. Despite the supposed care these conferences are meant to bring to the film, it ultimately serves as just an excuse to show skin. The film abruptly ends, revealing the lack of genuine narrative development.
